Matt is a creative leader with a strategic mindset and a track record of building both brands and teams. Currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer at Deep Focus, he shapes the agency’s offering to deliver measurable advantages for clients by integrating core services—social media, brand creative, media, and analytics—while thoughtfully deploying AI tools such as agentic audience segmentation and generative creative.
With over two decades of experience at both large traditional agencies like DDB and smaller, modern shops with a deep understanding of social media and digital tactics, Matt has led award-winning work for a wide range of brands—from the NFL to Frito-Lay, from Avis to Aruba, from HBO to Hasbro, and many more. His campaigns have earned recognition from Cannes Lions, the One Show, Clio Awards, Webby Awards, the Shortys, and others—a testament to his belief that the best creative work is smart, simple, and surprising.
Beyond the work, Matt is committed to building a collaborative culture where differing opinions are welcomed and talented teammates stay inspired for the long haul.
